Crochet thread - Paris Forum
Because raffia is the material that is not easy to dye, you may see some unevenly colored parts on the surface of the bag. Due to the handmade feature of the item, the size and color may be slightly different from what you see on the posted info and photos. Also, your PC setting may give you the discrepancy between the actual color of the item and the ones you see on our web photos. The color loss or color migration from the bag may occur by rubbing or being drenched by sweat or rain. When carrying the bag with white or light-colored goods, handle them with care to prevent color migration. Avoid direct sunlight or strong lightings in order to prevent color loss. Keep in mind those facts before you buy. Madagascan raffia fiber is finely braided to make this tote bag. The elegant coffee dye and beautiful bull horn button are the appealing point of this bag. The simple design of this bag clearly shows the refined quality of Madagascan raffia which is supple, glossy, and strong.
I wouldn't count on getting thread from Turkey in Paris , I think it would more likely be French or German or something. If you want that, I'd look elsewhere. Otherwise, there are many such shops in Paris, depends where you are. The area around Sentier metro is the garment district more or less, and there are several around there. Maison et travaux, in between St Lazare and St Augustin carries a large variety of crochet threads, yet i don't think they carry the brands you mentionned in your OP.
