Drama Review: Marriage, Not Dating [SPOILER ALERT!!!!]
After months of not blogging this time just because I was always out partying or was too lazy to sit and write , I am back again with another drama review. Marriage, Not Dating is a hilarious romantic comedy that follows a plastic surgeon on his quest to remain single, and a saleswoman on her quest to get married. Gong Gi Tae is a 33 year old plastic surgeon. He is also a bachelor, and wants to remain that way, despite his parents desire for him to get married. At the age of 29, Joo Jang Mi is ready for marriage. She is am honest and outspoken saleswoman at an upscale department store.
They stay true to themselves as the show manages to tie up all the loose ends nicely, leaving me feeling like everyone gets the ending they deserve. Ki-tae and Jang-mi stand in their wedding finery, at an altar under a stormy sky, both of them looking angry and hurt. Ki-tae turns and walks away, leaving Jang-mi alone at the altar.
Cold open: Gi Tae and Jang Mi have a heated argument in the park. Jang Mi also has no luck finding Gi Tae. He refused to accept it and when she pushed it on him, she found out that he had medicinal patches on his shoulders since he had been working at a construction site.
